Oh, the holidays.
In magazines and on TV they look picture perfect. In reality, there are ups and downs during the season. For those of us that struggle with perfectionism, the holidays can be a time where we feel more stress or anxiety in our lives while trying to create the perfect holiday dinner, presents, or party.
I am proud to be featured in this great PsychCentral.com article on embracing the imperfections that will happen during the holidays. It discusses how to be more accepting of ourselves, practicing gratitude, and managing expectations.
If you feel like you could use some support with managing your stress or perfectionism – I have a few December openings in my practice. I have helped a lot of clients better manage anxiety, stress, perfectionism, and other challenges. Contact me for a complimentary consultation so we can talk about working together.
